All good things must come to an end :p I’ve had my e-maill address at email.com for many, many years now (I forget how long but I believe it is at least four years …) and now they are going semi-commercial and have made their forwarding service a premium one – darn, now I need to find another forwarding e-mail address that is secure, reliable and is free. I’ve been looking around and would you believe it, there seem to be none that fit all the criteria at the moment 🙁 I guess if I keep on looking, I’ll find one somewhere but for the moment, I’m stumped and I do need to get cracking soon since I believe I’ll lose my e-mail.com service pretty soon … Ah well … such is life …

If you ever register that domain for yourself (which you were talking about way back when) you can set up your own mail forwarding service using Zoneedit.com.

I used Godaddy.com for my domain registration, it went really smoothly, then I used http://www.zoneedit.com to set up my domain – it’s free even 🙂 they let you set up webforwards, and mailforwards. Check it out, I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately, while Mail.Com’s basic services are free, mail.com is just another offshoot of email.com (or vice versa) and the mail forwarding and POP access is now a premium service that you have to pay for and it is exactly those features that I want! And getting my own domain probably will not happen in the near future either, ah well …

hey why not just use yahoo–they allow pop and smtp (best with non-dialups). or hotmail. with outlook express they both have HD access and storage of your emails. and also has the option of web-access if away from PC. i’ve used them for years now too and plus everyone can remember them, and I’m a pretty liberal guy to be supporting large internet corporations like them…. =P just making suggestings since i did enjoy your blog software in one of my websites. thanks. keep up the skills.
